Accommodations
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a federal civil rights law that prohibits discrimination
against people with disabilities in everyday activities. Employers must provide people with
disabilities an equal opportunity to benefit from the employment-related opportunities available
to others. This includes things like recruitment, hiring, promotions, training, pay, and social
activities.
If you are requesting a workplace accommodation, an Accommodation Request Form can be
found in Frontline Central. You can also email HRConfidential@lesd.k12.or.us with notice that
you’d like to request an accommodation and the form can be sent to you. If the accommodation
requires a Health Care Provider Statement, this form will be sent to you as well.
All written requests will receive a written acknowledgement within seven (7) calendar days.
