This free student transit fare program is made available through a grant to Lane Transit District (LTD) from the State of Oregon’s Statewide Transportation Improvement Fund (STIF), approved through the House Bill 2017 transportation package.
Enrolled homeschool students can get a free bus pass by following one of two options:
• Purchase a tap card for $3 at the LTD customer service center. Take a picture of the front and back of the card and email them to homeschool@lesd.k12.or.us to activate the tap card.
OR
• Download and install the Umo Mobility App through your app store. Create and register an account for the student, then screenshot and email the barcode to homeschool@lesd.k12.or.us to activate the mobile account.
LTD Student Transit Passes are active until October 15 following the current school year’s end. If your student is still enrolled in homeschool for the upcoming school year, the passes can be reactivated after October 15 by emailing homeschool@lesd.k12.or.us.
