Lane ESD provides a wide variety of data supports to the 16 school districts in Lane County, as well as partners with other agencies.

The majority of our districts utilize the Oregon Data Portal (formerly the Data Warehouse) which is managed in association with Willamette ESD. The portal gives districts access to real time and historic data down to the student level.

Nine rural districts are currently part of the ESD’s easyCBM coalition, which provides a bank of formative and interim assessments, in both reading and math from kindergarten thru 8th grade. Other districts use their own licensed version of easyCBM, and we are available to provide support if needed.

All districts in the county provide data to the Connected Lane County Dataset, a de-identified longitudinal database which is a partnership between the districts, the University of Oregon, and Lane Community College. Data from the dataset is available upon request to all partners for project planning and analysis. Outside agencies may access information from the dataset through a formal request process.

Districts can track behavior issues by joining the SWIS coalition, which is supported by School Improvement staff who have undergone SWIS-CICO training.

Partner districts have access to the services of the School Improvement staff, including the Data and Evaluation Coordinator, to assist in data collection, support, and analysis.
