Lane ESD maintains a list of approved substitute teachers on behalf of Lane County school districts, with the exception of Eugene 4J, Springfield, Junction City, and Siuslaw School Districts. To apply to be a substitute teacher in these districts you must contact these districts directly.

The following private or charter schools also use the Lane County Teacher Substitute list:

  • Village School

In order to substitute you must have a valid Oregon Teaching License. Oregon teacher licensure requirements are available at Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC).

Individuals who are interested in registering as a substitute are encouraged to review the overview of the process and other information located in the Lane County Teacher Substitutes Q & A.
