Audience: This course is applicable for teachers, instructional leaders, and administrators.

Goals:
  • Teach the concept of growth mindset and brain malleability to students
  • Incorporate growth mindset language as an integral part of your teaching
  • Explicitly teach learning strategies and connect them to effective effort
Description: In this module participants will conduct a number of experiments to get students to believe they can grow their ability and show them strategies for doing so. Participants will learn how to communicate three critical messages to all students: This is important; you can do it; I won't give up on you.
Lunch: No lunch will be provided.
Prerequisites: Module 1 is a prerequisite for all additional modules.
Notes:

One hour graduate credit available or participants will be provided a certificate for PDUs based on the training hours. Credit registration information provided on first day of training.
