Description: The training is being offered in response to growing concerns of non-medical cannabis use among students in schools across Lane ESD districts. It will provide basic skills and knowledge around cannabis use prevention among youth. Content of the training will include best practices in youth substance prevention, impact of cannabis use on youth development, current rates of use, access, risk factors, and protective factors, terminology, methods of use including vaping, and skills in communication with parents and students about cannabis use.
Lunch: No lunch will be provided.
