Audience: Elementary and Secondary: Counselors, TOSA, principals, assistant principals, attendance personnel

Goals:
  • Schools will understand the various models of mentoring for absenteeism/success.
  • Schools will gain concrete steps to follow in order to implement effective mentoring programs at their location.
  • Schools will understand how mentoring fits into an effective Absenteeism MTSS.
Description: We will be joined by the National Mentoring Resource Center and guests from schools who have implemented successful mentoring programs in order to explore the various models of mentoring, learn the concrete steps in implementing a robust mentoring program, and see how it connects with an effective Absenteeism MTSS.
Lunch: No lunch will be provided.
Prerequisites: None
Notes: You do not have to have previously attended our community of practice in order to join us.

All participants will be provided a certificate for PDUs based on the training hours.
